What happens after you write

  3. We prepare the submission and approach the specialty markets suited to the risk, then walk you through the options that come back.

About the brokerage

Setpoint Insurance Services is an independent specialty brokerage run by its founder, a licensed California insurance broker. We represent the buyer, not a carrier: "independent" means we are not tied to any single insurer's products, and "specialty" means we focus on risks standard markets often decline — hazardous operations, difficult claims history, or coverage that needs careful placement.

Our focus is tree care companies and other high-hazard contractors, including accounts that have been non-renewed or carry recent claims. These risks are often written through wholesale and surplus lines markets that retail buyers cannot access directly. Our job is to prepare a complete, accurate submission, approach the markets suited to the risk, and explain the options that come back — including any differences in coverage terms — so you can decide.
